1/26/2022 -- Second Notice about 50th Reunion

 

Greetings,

 

It's been awhile since we've communicated with you...time is flying by and conditions are changing all the time.

 

Your reunion committee had a zoom conference call on Jan 25th to nail down planning details and assignments.  We have zeroed in on the weekend of Sept 9-10 (with possibly the 8th for a happy hour and/or the 11th for brunch) in the Annapolis/Edgewater area.  We have once again secured Camp Letts for Saturday, September 10th picnic.  We plan to have a dinner/dance on Friday Sept 9th in the Annapolis area.  We are still researching possible venues.  Once this is established, we'll have a better handle on hotels and happy hour/brunch or other excursion events.

 

By having both a dinner/dance and big picnic event, we should be able to appeal to and attract a large cross section of classmates...those who like the more formal event and those who enjoy casual outdoors...and those who want to do it all!!!  What makes an event a success is the maximum participation of our classmates.  This will probably be our last big bang event, so, let's all help to make it memorable.

 

Your assignment for now is to contact as many alumni as you can to make sure they are aware of this event.  This could well be our last big, big event and none of us is getting any younger!!!
