I knew Jeff from St. Philip's Catholic School when he came to our school in about the third grade.  He was ALWAYS so very quiet, however, ALWAYS kind.  He was very smart and had a good sense of humor---sometimes seeing the world a little differently than the rest of us.  Jeff's mother and my mother became good friends and, thus, I saw Jeff from time to time after graduating from Crossland.  The last time I saw him he and his mom had stopped by my mother's home in Florida for a short visit.  He was still very quiet and still very kind.  I am sorry that his life was cut short.  He was a good person.

Thanks for the comments Debra....i lost track of Jeffrey and haven't thought of him for years......i can't say i was close to him but he sat next to me in home room so i got to know him. You describied him well. i remember he had a sly way of talking and drew out the word "sure" as "shoreee".  on a regular basis  when i was walking home he always swerved his car as if to run me over....all in jest of course. Good guy, sorry to hear of his passing.
